About Job

This position is responsible for facilitating groups within the Hope and Wellness Center treatment mall program. The Clinical Social Worker develops topics and modalities to be used in group therapy. This position must exercise clinical judgement to continually assess the needs of the individuals in group and adjust the group as needed to target various treatment goals. This position monitors and documents on the participant’s response, performance, and progress towards the goals identified in the compressive treatment plan. This position may also serve on a variety of Hope and Wellness Center and/or hospital wide committees and work groups.   • Ability to use DSM 5/knowledge of psychopathology and evidence-based treatment modalities to develop and implement clinically therapeutic interventions in a group therapy setting
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with adult patients presenting a wide range of capacity for abstract thinking
  • Ability to establish/maintain effective working relationship with patient population and team members

Master’s degree from an appropriately accredited school of social work. Licensure is required from NC SW Certification and Licensure Board.

Necessary Special Qualification Requirements - One must fulfill all requirements for Licensure in North Carolina as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as required by the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board.

Qualified applicants must be selected from the candidate pool of this posting and meet the State policy following requirements:
