A renowned mental health organization serving Queens is urgently seeking a full-time, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join their compassionate and mission-driven team. With many clients currently on a waiting list, this role offers a unique opportunity to provide family-focused care in underserved communities.
In This Essential Role, You Will
Work location: Community-based settings across Queens, NY.
In This Essential Role, You Will
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy to a caseload of 15–20 clients,
- Perform assessments and implement evidence-based treatment plans,
- Delivery of services in homes, schools, centers, and public locations throughout Queens,
- Collaborate with LCSW supervisors and other care team members, and
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation, including timely therapy notes.
- An active LMFT license in New York State,
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in family or systems-based therapy,
- The ability to pass a criminal background check, and
- Excellent clinical and strong documentation skills, including timely and accurate therapy notes.
- $75/hour on a 1099 contractor basis,
- Flexible full-time scheduling: 30–45 hours/week,
- A consistent caseload from a large client waitlist, and
- A chance to make a real difference in a variety of community-based locations.
