About Job

Duties

  • Coordinate, plan, and develop Environment of Care inspections.
  • Work with the Chief, Facility Management Division and Quality Management to ensure system compliance.
  • Produce the agenda for meetings to include maintaining the current status of action logs.
  • Perform as the Contracting Officer's liaison between the Government and appropriate contractor personnel to ensure timely performance, compliance with the terms of the contract and provides technical information relating to projects.

  • Must possess and maintain a valid stateside driver's license.
  • Must complete COR (Contracting Officer’s Representative) Course within 30 days of appointment.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a government driver’s license to operate General Services Administration vehicles.
  • May require travel to outlying clinics by privately owned conveyance or government-owned vehicle.
  • This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
  • This position may require overtime work.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience and/or education requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes submitting or tracking work order requests through automated systems; ensuring safety compliance within multiple offices; and maintaining records including funding/expenditure data for contracts.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

OR

Education:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level of education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skill and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Safety (OSHA Compliance), Resource Management/Contracting, Health Systems Management, and Risk Management. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)

OR

Combination of Education and Experience:
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position, as long as, the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then, divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07). All applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade and specialized experience requirements within thirty (30) days after the closing date of the announcement.
