POSITION: CLINICAL

PROGRAM: Center for Integrated Family and Health Services

TITLE: Associate MFT Therapist

Job Definition:

Registered Associate Marriage Family Therapist reports to both the Clinical Director of the Center for Integrated Family and Health Services and the assigned Clinical Supervisor, and is responsible for providing individual, family, crisis counseling and group counseling services as well as parent education, assessments and case management to individuals and families. Represents the agency through networking with other agencies, individuals and institutions, specifically to meet the support needs of clients.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Work to support and promote the agency’s mission and vision.

2. Provide individual, family group and crisis counseling.

3. Collaborate and network with other agencies to create community-based services and counseling programs.

4. Collaborate and network with individuals and institutions in order to form client support networks

5. Provide case management and client advocacy, particularly in the area of social services and programs in order to ensure their overall needs.

6. Conduct parent education groups.

7. Conduct prevention education training.

8. Speak to community groups.

9. Report child abuse and neglect in accordance with state law.

10. Provide training and guidance to externs and volunteers.

11. Participate in other agency services as they are developed.

12. Complete required paperwork including documentation, case plans and reports in a timely manner and maintain files as directed.

13. Participate in supervision, case management, in-services training, and extern training meetings as required.

14. Assess families and individuals as needed.

15. Make home visits and other outreach efforts as required.

16. Participate in emergency telephone response/consultation as needed.

17. Assist Clinical Director as needed.

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Registered or Associate status towards M.F.T., L.C.S.W., or Clinical Psychology License. Ability to counsel both adults and children. Training experience in prevention and treatment of child abuse preferred.

Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour
