Organization Description

Peace Therapy is a mental health counseling practice in Fort Myers, FL, specialized in helping children, adolescents, and families aged 2-18 who have experienced trauma and abuse, although we we are well versed in working with trauma experienced at all ages. The practice offers in-office, teletherapy, and home therapy visits to support individuals dealing with trauma and associated symptoms/diagnoses.

Role Description

This is a contractor, 1099, position for a Mental Health Counselor at Peace Therapy. The Counselor will be responsible for treatment planning, providing mental health support, offering trauma-related counseling, and managing cases. The role is based in Lee County, Florida but has flexibility. We are open seven days a week so you set your own schedule. We are particularly in need of therapists to work on the weekends with children between the ages of 1-7.

Qualifications

-Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field

-Registered Interns and School Interns, LMHCs, LCSWs, Psychologists

-Treatment Planning, Case Management, and Mental Health skills

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills

-Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting

-Experience working with children and adolescents

-Ability to Work Independently

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 40 per week
