Social Worker (MSW) – Hospice
Location: Buckeye Lake, OH

Must Haves:

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required

• Current Ohio license: LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC

• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred

Position Details:

• Full-time, day shift with weekend rotation

• Compensation:

  • BSW: $51,000 – $70,000

  • MSW: $56,000 – $78,000 (based on experience)

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver professional social work services, addressing problems and issues impacting health and well-being, including discharge planning

• Provide supportive counseling, crisis intervention, and facilitate therapeutic, support, and educational groups

• Help patients develop coping strategies when facing lifestyle changes due to illness or disability

• Represent the healthcare system on community boards and task forces when appropriate

• Stay current with changes in laws affecting social work practice

• Adhere to the ethical codes established by the Ohio Counselor and Social Work Board
