About Job
This position requires extensive knowledge and understanding of mental illness and its effects. This requires the ability to apply
counseling and psychotherapeutic techniques to persons affected by mental illness and a thorough knowledge of community resources and ability to relate positively to the family of the consumer and community resources in an attempt
to assist the consumer maintain or improve their level of function.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
M. A. required from an accredited college or university with degree preferably in the field of social work, counseling, psychology, or sociology and one year in a human services setting, preferably in the field of mental health.
