Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Patient Care Coordinator located in Hicksville, NY. The Patient Care Coordinator will manage appointment scheduling, coordinate patient care, handle phone inquiries with proper etiquette, and assist with administrative tasks. Additional responsibilities include maintaining accurate patient records, ensuring effective communication between patients and healthcare providers, and using medical terminology appropriately in day-to-day interactions.


Qualifications

  • Skills in Appointment Scheduling and Phone Etiquette
  • Experience in Care Coordination and Patient Care
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is beneficial


This position is for Fridays (8-10 hour shift) must be flexible. After 3 month probation we will consider for more hours.
