Impact Vision Therapy is a growing specialty optometry practice dedicated to improving lives through vision therapy. We are seeking a positive, detail-oriented, and career-minded individual to join our team as a Patient Care Coordinator.

About the Role

The Patient Care Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting both our doctor and Vision Therapy Team to ensure patients receive the best possible care. This position is a blend of patient interaction and administrative support. You’ll be the first point of contact for patients, help guide them through their care journey, and keep our office running smoothly.

Because we are a private pay practice, the Patient Care Coordinator also assists with facilitating liens and helping patients navigate financial arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients, creating a warm and professional first impression.
  • Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and schedule appointments.
  • Coordinate patient flow and manage multiple schedules.
  • Enter and maintain accurate patient records, including demographics.
  • Assist with billing, coding, and lien facilitation.
  • Manage accounts receivable.
  • Prepare reports and correspondence.
  • Support the doctor and therapy team with administrative tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong computer skills and comfort with learning new software.
  • Excellent phone and customer service skills.
  • Ability to operate office equipment (copier, scanner, printer, multi-line phones).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with both children and adults.
  • Flexibility to handle interruptions while staying on task.

Schedule & Location

  • Full-time position, Hours could range from 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday
  • Based in our Colorado Springs office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
