Professional Mental Health Counselor - MUST BE LICENSED IN MARYLAND!
Position: Licensed Counselor (LCPC or LGPC)
Hours: FT, M-F, 40hrs per week, flexible on times 4x day shifts (8a-4:30p, 9a-5:30p, 9:30a-6p) & a minimum of 1 evening shift (11a-7:30p, etc.).
Hybrid schedule will be available after acclimated to job.
Contract Length: 26 weeks
Job Duties: Carrying a patient load, doing treatment plans, etc.
Side Notes: If comfortable/able, pick up is available at the Detention Center for one 8 hour shift (can be split up). Staff can either replace it with one of the days or add it on top of their schedule for OT.

The Licensed Mental Health Practitioner/Licensed Professional Counselor provides individual and group therapeutic services in a variety of settings across the age span and works collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. The Licensed Mental Health Practitioner / Licensed Professional Counselor administers an assortment of assessment tools and develop programming as needed to assist in the treatment of a variety of behavioral disorders and disabilities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Licensed as a Mental Health Practitioner or Licensed Professional Counselor in state practicing required
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
