Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW) to provide culturally sensitive and individualized outpatient therapy that supports mental health and resilience across diverse communities. As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in the development of treatment, crisis, and wellness plans, ensuring a high standard of documentation and ethical practice. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Provide individualized outpatient therapy for individuals and families, tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs and goals of each client.
- Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans to promote stability and empower clients in their mental health journeys.
- Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning to ensure comprehensive, client-centered care.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists to deliver holistic mental health care.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
- Independent license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) in accordance with state regulations.
- Strong passion for mental health and a commitment to providing high-quality, client-centered care.
- Dedication to ongoing professional development, including free supervision and continuing education opportunities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse, multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
- Strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively and complete administrative tasks efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in outpatient therapy and crisis intervention is a plus.
- Experience working with diverse populations is highly valued.
