About the Opportunity
Mindful Communication Group is a therapist-owned multidisciplinary private practice offering Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Mental Health services. Mindful Communication Group is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide evidence-based ABA services in the Hampton Roads area. This role includes direct clinical work, supervision of RBTs, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate is experienced, reliable, and committed to client-centered care. This position also includes responsibilities related to program development and clinical leadership.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct initial intake evaluations, including Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and skills assessments
- Develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) using evidence-based tools
- Provide ongoing BCBA supervision to RBTs in accordance with BACB standards
- Train and coach RBTs and caregivers in ABA principles and implementation
- Graph data, analyze trends, and adjust behavior plans to ensure client progress
- Collaborate with speech, occupational, and mental health therapists as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Maintain documentation and progress summaries via EMR system
- Participate in program development meetings
Qualifications
- Active BCBA certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Licensed (or license-eligible) as a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Virginia
- 1+ years of experience delivering ABA services to individuals with autism or developmental disabilities
- Previous supervision of RBTs required
- Reliable transportation to travel within assigned service area
- Comfortable using EMR and digital documentation systems
- Excellent interpersonal, time management, and communication skills
- Passion for evidence-based, family-centered care
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with Medicaid and commercial payer authorization processes in Virginia
- Experience participating in new program development or clinical leadership
- Background in interdisciplinary collaboration (SLP, OT, MH) is a plus
- Military family experience is a plus (TRICARE coordination, etc.)
