About Us
High Focus Centers has a long-standing history of providing high-quality outpatient treatment in southeastern Pennsylvania through its programs—Rehab After Work, The Light Program, and Seeds of Hope. We offer comprehensive, individualized treatment plans for adults and teens struggling with substance use, mental health, and eating disorders.
Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and creative Part-Time Art Therapist to join our team. This role involves supporting clients through art therapy interventions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The position includes travel between our Jenkintown, Center City, and Northeast Philadelphia offices and offers up to 28 hours per week.
Responsibilities
Facilitate individual and group art therapy and expressive arts sessions.
Prepare materials and create a therapeutic environment for clients.
Collaborate with therapists and clinical staff to support treatment goals.
Assess behavioral and emotional needs and document progress within required timeframes.
Attend staff meetings, supervision, and required trainings.
Support Executive Directors in maintaining program quality and compliance.
Maintain safety, order, and therapeutic boundaries, including crisis intervention when necessary.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Master's degree in Art Therapy.
ATR or ATR-BC required.
LPC or LCSW preferred (not required).
Trauma-Informed Art Therapy or Trauma-Informed Expressive Art Therapy Certification preferred.
Strong understanding of addiction, mental health, eating disorders, and co-occurring conditions.
Ability to apply expressive arts practices effectively in treatment.
