Responsibilities
- The Benefits Account Service Coordinator serves as a key support resource for both the Account Manager and Producer. This role focuses on data entry, day-to-day client service, contract review, eligibility support, and the production of client materials and technology utilization.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of health and benefit products, services, and tools to effectively educate clients on their program offerings.
- Assist with the preparation of renewal proposals, ensuring all required internal documents are utilized.
- Participate in client meetings and calls, as appropriate.
- Promote a collaborative and positive office environment through teamwork and supportive communication.
- Stay informed on industry trends, legislative changes, product development, and emerging technologies.
- Support client servicing needs, including coordination of employee ID cards, client coverage booklets, and contracts.
- Collect and maintain client census data to assist in the renewal and quoting process.
- Conduct detailed reviews of insurance contracts and ensure the accuracy of client plan documentation.
- Provide resolution support for enrollment discrepancies, premium billing issues, and escalated claims concerns.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- College degree preferred.
- Active Life and Health insurance license required.
- Highly personable, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with a drive to support organizational and client success.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Working knowledge or strong interest in employee benefits.
- Consultative and solution-focused approach with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent listening skills and a strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
