Job Summary: We are looking for a pediatric focused LMSW or LLMSW to join our team at Functional Kids Therapy Center in Caledonia, MI. We are a growing company that is seeking self-motivated, punctual, responsible, communicative team member to join our amazing group of professionals. Must be willing to assist in growing the caseload of children currently in our practice. Individual treatment space will be provided. Preference given to clinicians that offer consistent after-school time slots!! Must have a valid Michigan professional license. Minimum of 25-35 hours per week depending on therapists availability.

*Clinician paid for all patient-initiated cancellations and no-shows

Responsibilities:

Individual Counseling: Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to children with diverse behavioral and emotional needs.

Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough assessments to understand the unique needs of each child and formulate accurate diagnoses.

Treatment Planning: Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on individualized goals and objectives.

Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other professionals, to ensure comprehensive care for each child.

Family Involvement: Engage and collaborate with families to provide support, education, and resources, fostering a collaborative approach to therapy.

Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and track the progress of clients, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure positive outcomes.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards.

Continuing Education: Stay informed about the latest developments in counseling techniques, therapeutic interventions, and relevant research to enhance professional knowledge and skills.

Adherence to Ethical Standards: Uphold ethical guidelines and standards of practice in accordance with relevant licensing boards and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

Master's in Social Work

Current and valid state license as an LLMSW or LMSW

Experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic interventions for children.

Commitment to ongoing professional development.
