Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals and families. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those experiencing mental health challenges. The LCSW/LPC will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings.

***Independent Contractor (1099) LCSW or LPC delivering individual psychotherapy with a hybrid schedule: Flexible 1 –2 onsite days/week plus telehealth (Will start out with virtual only).***

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Provide psychotherapy and counseling services using various modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and motivational interviewing.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including intake forms, progress notes, and treatment summaries.
Utilize EMR systems for data collection and management of patient records.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care for patients with complex needs, including those with autism or other developmental disabilities.
Participate in case management activities to ensure continuity of care for patients across various settings.
Maintain risk assessment and safety planning; follow Clinic crisis protocol and onsite safety standards.
Participate in brief regular care‑team huddles; coordinate with prescribers as needed.
Close notes within 48 hours; uphold HIPAA and Clinic privacy/security.

Qualifications

Active, independent LCSW or LPC license in Texas; clean record.
Proven experience in behavioral health settings, particularly with children and families.
Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical records management.
Strong skills in crisis management and intervention techniques.
Experience working in hospital environments or with geriatrics is highly desirable.
Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles is a plus.
Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to engage effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds.

2+ years outpatient therapy preferred; comfortable with telehealth and onsite care.
Training in CBT/DBT/ACT or trauma‑informed modalities is a plus.
Comfortable with EHRs; Charm EHR experience helpful.

Schedule & Location

In‑person: Plano, TX area. Start with one block day; expand based on demand.
Telehealth: Remaining sessions via Clinic platforms; patient location must match your licensure.
The role will start out as telehealth before transitioning to hybrid in a few weeks.

Compensation (1099)
