Responsibilities:

  • Provide oversight for ABA Therapy and programming procedures for all children on your caseload
  • Participate in collaboration meeting for each child with SLP and OT

Assist in the intake process by:

  • Conduct evaluations for new children on your caseload
  • Discuss general details of what the therapy day may entail
  • Plan, coordinate, and assist with gathering new patient materials
  • Load goals and teaching instructions into Central Reach Data platform-with help of your assistant/Lead Therapist

Maintain existing caseload by:

  • Re-evaluate and send treatment plan to billing for each child no later than 2 weeks prior to authorization end date
  • Inform and train RBTs of new/updated goals
  • Provide supervision to each child on caseload in accordance to company and insurance mandates to meet billable hours requirement
  • Conduct Parent trainings/progress updates on a weekly basis-maintain open communication (can be done in conjunction with Lead Therapist)
  • Conduct assessments as needed (Skill Acquisition Assessments/Behavioral Assessments/Preference Assessments)
  • Review skill and behavior data and make adjustments as needed.
  • Ensure that all data is graphed or filed (organized for use when requested)
  • Request training in teaching methods when needed for clients

Maintain and Support RBT staff by:

  • Conduct ongoing trainings and education on a monthly(bi-monthly) basis
  • Reach out for training support as needed
  • Serve as a resource for questions and maintain an open door policy
  • Supervise and provide feedback as needed
  • Inform floor RBTs about current and new patient programs
  • Supervise each RBT on your caseload and provide clinical feedback for at least one hour per month
  • Collect IOA Data (Treatment/Intervention Integrity) and provide training as needed
  • Provide reinforcement and corrective feedback as needed

Maintain and Support Lead Therapist (assigned to your team) and Assistant Trainer by:

  • Conducting ongoing training and instruction as needed
  • Provide oversight of Lead’s documentation (including goals and targets input into Central Reach and assessments/re-assessments)
  • Assist with tasks as delegated (training topics and staff training/inputting information into Central Reach/support during Parent Training/etc)
  • Train Lead Therapist on collecting IOA of RBT Data (Treatment/Intervention Integrity) and utilize as needed
  • Train Lead Therapist on conducting assessments (Reinforcer Assessments, Preference Assessments) and utilize as needed
  • Train Lead Therapist on appropriate parent communication skills as needed
  • Manage the therapy department staffing levels through daily coordination of therapy staff assignments to meet clinical and operational needs
  • Manage productivity and efficiency to meet financial and clinical goals
  • Contribute to a positive work team by sharing information, using problem-solving methods, accepting new ideas, constructive feedback and advice from others
  • Ensure that clinical staff is providing proper documentation according to commercial insurance guidelines, company policy and facility standards
  • Identify and recommend development of new programs/service enhancements that promote improved clientele outcomes
  • Represent the ethical standards of the company, identifying and reporting instances of poor patient care and communicating concerns to the Office Manager(s) as needed
  • Respond to and act appropriately in emergency or disaster situations
  • Assist with monthly staff meetings to discuss department updates, answer questions/take requests, etc.
  • Complete and document performance reviews for all staff within your department based on company policy
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties for this role
