Job Posting Description

Position Summary/Department Summary:
We are currently seeking a full-time outpatient social work position (40 hours) to provide a range of clinical social work services to children, adolescents, and families in our Orthopedics/Cerebral Palsy Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Psychosocial screening and assessment; ongoing work with families facing chronic illness and facilitation of complex care needs
  • Provision of resource information and referral and psychosocial consultation to the multidisciplinary team.
  • Opportunities also for program development in collaboration with multidisciplinary team and other social worker on the service.
Minimum Qualifications

Education:
  • Master’s degree in social work
Experience:
  • Social work experience in medical environment highly preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment ideal

Licensure/Certifications:
  • LCSW licensure in the state of Massachusetts is required, LICSW licensure in the state of Massachusetts highly preferred.
