About Job

As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is seeking a School Counselor to provide virtual services for charter school students in Utah. This position is for the current school year.

Licensed Counselor Salary: $62 to $66 per hour

Licensed Counselor Qualifications:

  • License in the state of Utah
  • School Certification in the state of Utah
  • Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
  • Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)

School Counselor or Social Worker Responsibilities Include:

  • Identifying and assessing students in need of trauma support
  • Conducting trauma-informed therapy and counseling interventions for at-risk students in individual, group, or family settings
  • Responding to progress monitoring results and student assessment data
  • Providing case management and direct intervention to students and families experiencing trauma, including those from low-income households, those who are homeless or in foster care, and students involved in the criminal justice system or experiencing mental illness or substance abuse disorder.
