Qualifications
Carries a client caseload as assigned. Responsible for determining the client's
strengths/weaknesses and needs to assist clients in developing a treatment plan within 7
days of admission.
Monitors and documents assigned client's progress toward the treatment plan.
Provides alcohol and drug education in counseling sessions.
Must keep client records up-to-date.
Responsible for assuring that assigned clients are given random urinalysis according to
State and Federal guidelines.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Clinical Supervisor.
Responsible for client confidentiality as regulated by Federal guidelines.
Conduct Intake Assessments.
Attend weekly supervision meetings and any other supervision that is required.
Full-time and Part-time hours available - non virtual position
Locations in: Baltimore County (Parkville, Dundalk)
The office is open Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm. Options exist for contractual and both full and part-time. Two office locations to choose from, both within 30 minutes of Baltimore. Salary will be based upon experience and the number of hours worked. Benefits will be offered to full-time candidates.
Requirements
All staff employed as alcohol and drug counselors shall, at a minimum be:
Licensed or certified as an alcohol and drug counselors by the Board of Professional Counselors and
Therapists; Approved by the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists; or Licensed, certified,
or permitted under the Health Occupations Article, Annotated Code of Maryland to provide substance
abuse treatment.
