A full-time School Social Worker position is available in Lansing, MI, supporting K-12 students through a contract for the current school year. This role involves working closely with students, families, and school staff to promote a positive educational environment and address student social and emotional needs.

Key responsibilities include reviewing student records to identify needs, collaborating with staff and parents to develop supportive strategies, attending Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, conducting both group and individual counseling sessions, and actively participating on the Student Support Team to help implement student interventions and support plans.

Qualifications:

• Michigan School Social Worker certification or eligibility to obtain certification
• Valid Michigan Social Worker License
