A school-based social worker position is available to support students in a K-12 educational setting located in Fort Myers, FL. This contract role extends through the current school year (CSY) and focuses on providing critical social services to enhance students' academic and social success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs to develop appropriate intervention plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address barriers to learning.
• Provide counseling and support for students experiencing personal or family challenges.
• Conduct crisis intervention and coordinate referrals to community resources as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and case records according to professional standards.

Qualifications:

• Licensed or certified social worker with relevant state credentials.
• Experience working in K-12 school environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development and social work best practices in education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
