Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A position is available for a dedicated Social Worker to support high school students throughout the full school year in a Ravenna, OH location. This contract role focuses on delivering essential social work services within a high school setting, helping students navigate personal, social, and academic challenges to foster a positive educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to high school students addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop support plans that promote student well-being and academic success.
• Conduct assessments and facilitate interventions to address issues such as attendance, peer relationships, family challenges, and mental health concerns.
• Connect students and families to community resources and support services.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to advocate for student needs and monitor progress.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) credential.
• Experience working with adolescents in educational environments is preferred.
• Strong communication, assessment, and crisis intervention skills.
• Ability to maintain confidential and professional relationships.
• Knowledge of school policies, community resources, and social work best practices.
