A dynamic opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a vibrant school setting in Schenectady, NY. This contract position spans the current school year (CSY) and is ideal for professionals passionate about contributing to student success and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and support services addressing academic, social, and emotional challenges
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and offer expert recommendations
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Promote a positive, inclusive school environment through proactive interventions

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure appropriate for New York State
