A school-based social worker is needed to support middle school students, primarily those in 7th grade, in an onsite setting located in Denver, CO. This contract position offers 24 hours per week spread over three days, making it ideal for professionals seeking part-time work during the current school year.

Responsibilities include providing crisis intervention and de-escalation support, implementing crisis protocols, and addressing referrals for general education students. A significant focus will be on substance use counseling, aiding students to navigate challenges that affect their well-being and academic performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master of Social Work (MSW) degree is required
  • An active Minnesota (MN) social work license must be held
