A full-time School Social Worker opportunity is available for the full school year at an early childhood school in Rockford, MI. This position requires a candidate with a valid Michigan school social worker certification and experience supporting students with autism and emotional impairments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess student needs.
• Develop and write Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student.
• Complete Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs).
• Provide crisis response support as needed.
• Pursue certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) and Ukeru to enhance crisis management skills.

Desired Qualifications:

• Michigan school social worker certification is mandatory.
• Proven experience working with students with autism spectrum disorders and emotional impairments.
• Competence in delivering assessments and developing behavior plans.
