Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.


This role is ideal for a licensed School Social Worker seeking part-time work within a K-12 educational setting in Chicago, IL. Serving students across all grade levels, you will provide vital social work services designed to support their emotional, social, and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop intervention plans for K-12 students
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and community resources to address student needs
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and support for behavioral and emotional challenges
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

  • Illinois School Social Worker (SSW) License
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker Endorsement
  • Experience delivering general social work services within a school environment preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited for working with diverse student populations

Position Details:

  • Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite)
  • Schedule: Part-time, approximately 16 hours per week across 2 days
  • Contract duration: School Year (NSY)
