About Job

The Instructor will oversee multiple research and clinical research projects. This position will be the lead genetic counselor for Texome and Project GIVE, providing comprehensive genetic counseling to participating families and ensuring detailed documentation for referring providers. Responsible for managing study databases, monitoring the timely return of results, and preparing concise patient summaries for team discussions regarding study eligibility. Instructor will also serve a similar role in the MAGNET, CZI and TRISH studies, and will disclose genome sequencing results to study participants. Instructor will also be involved in the BCM Genetic Counseling Program as a thesis chair and will supervise GC students in their research genetic counseling specialty rotation.
