Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals with disabilities, providing support and implementing behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. This role is essential in promoting positive behavioral changes and enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly children.
Duties
- Conduct assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral challenges and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Implement individualized behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Monitor client progress and document behavioral data accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Provide training and support to staff on best practices in behavioral therapy and applied behavior analysis techniques.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology and documentation standards relevant to patient care.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills in working with individuals with disabilities.
Qualifications
- Board Certification as an Assistant Behavior Analyst is required.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with disabilities, is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality in patient care.
- Proficiency in medical documentation practices and familiarity with medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to improving client outcomes through behavioral therapy.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
