Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities, utilizing your expertise in applied behavior analysis to implement effective behavioral interventions. You will collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to promote positive behavioral changes and enhance the quality of life for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments to identify individual needs and develop tailored behavior intervention plans.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques in accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor client progress and collect data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide training and support to caregivers and staff on best practices in behavior management.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of client information.
- Stay current with developments in the field of behavioral health and applied behavior analysis.
Qualifications
- Must have a Board Certification as an Assistant Behavior Analyst
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and patient assessment processes.
- Experience in special education settings is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating strong organizational skills.
- A commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development in behavioral health.
