Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our growing team on a 1099 contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and experienced clinician who values flexibility, autonomy, and collaboration. You’ll provide individual, couples, and family therapy in a hybrid setting—both in-person and via secure telehealth.

As a core member of our multidisciplinary team, you'll support clients through a variety of emotional and psychological challenges using evidence-based modalities, while contributing to a clinician-centered and supportive practice culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, couples, and family therapy using evidence-based practices
  • Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with client goals and clinical needs
  • Utilize modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, and other appropriate interventions
  • Deliver crisis intervention and short-term stabilization services when needed
  • Maintain HIPAA-compliant, accurate, and timely documentation in accordance with Michigan regulations
  • Participate in peer consultation meetings and support team-based clinical discussions
  • Offer clinical supervision or peer mentorship, if applicable
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals to ensure integrated, client-centered care
  • Adhere to the highest ethical and professional standards, including confidentiality and integrity

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Counseling or a related mental health field
  • Active LPC license in the State of Michigan
  • Experience working with a diverse client base across various settings
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage an independent caseload
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication
  • Experience with telehealth platforms is a plus
  • Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive care
