    Position: Social Worker-Vernon Center Middle School

    Description: The Administration is seeking a person qualified by education and experience to support students' social, emotional, and behavioral well-being by providing counseling, interventions, and resources to help them succeed academically and personally. They collaborate with families, teachers, and community organizations to address challenges and create a positive, inclusive school environment.
    Qualifications:
    Certification/License:
    • Connecticut State Certification as a Social Worker (#071)
    Education:
    • Bachelors from an accredited college or university in education discipline applicable to teaching assignment.
    • Masters Degree in Social Work.

    Salary and Benefits: The salary range for the 2025-26 school year is per contract with a competitive benefits package. Please see attached contract for details.

    Start date: September 29, 2025
