Full time / Year round position. You will work 7.5 hours a day; 37.5 hours a week , you are entitled to enroll in Town of Milton health, life, dental and you will join Town Retirement System.Assist the Director with communication on application timelines, FAFSA, required paperworkWork with Counselors to maintain transcripts and ensure deadlines are met for college applicationsPrepare and transmit seniors' transcripts (initial, mid-year, and final)Ensure families receive communication regarding graduation statusPull data from Naviance on transcript requests and coordinate student application deadlines with CounselorsManage transcript requests (official/unofficial for colleges, NCAA, verifications)Assist with testing coordination (PSAT, SAT, AP, MCAS, WIDA)Update and maintain permanent records in compliance with state and school policiesComplete graduation verification for graduatesMaintain up-to-date computer records (senior scores, applications, post-graduation plans)Enter transfer courses into PowerSchoolAssist with Group Guidance Program including materials organizationProcess department correspondence including recommendation lettersHandle incoming calls from students, parents, and external partiesQualificationsStrong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills with attention to detailProficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, PowerSchool, Naviance and College BoardStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse populations and to interact in a professional manner with students, parents, and staffAbility to work independently and part of a team with excellent problem-solving skills and adaptabilityAbility to prioritize tasks and assignments in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptionsMaintains confidentiality Commitment to supporting student success and well-being
