We are seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join our dedicated team in Escondido. In this pivotal role, you will provide clinical supervision to clinical staff, practicum students, and interns and ensure the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services, contributing to our mission of fostering a respectful and collaborative environment.

Hours: 6 hours per week; flexible schedule to be determined at the program level. This position is an on-site position and requires in-person attendance to perform the essential functions of the job.

Pay Rate: $60.90 to $66.70 (part-time hours); $52.50 to $57.50 (full-time hours) per hour

Licensure: Current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California and must be kept current throughout employment

As a Clinical Supervisor, you will:

• Provide individual and group clinical supervision of clinical staff, interns and practicum students from various local college programs
• Follow Professional Board requirements and educational institution contracts and requirements
• Participate in utilization management
• Review and co-sign clinical records

Additional Qualifications and Skills

• Must have held an active license in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for at least 2 years out of the last 5 years prior to commencement of supervision required. License must be in good standing with the CA Board of Behavioral Sciences.
• Have practiced psychotherapy at least 2 years out of the last 5 years prior to commencement of supervision required
• Provided direct clinical supervision to ASWs, AMFTs, MFT trainees, or APCCs required
• Experience working with the severe and persistent mentally ill population and with adults/older adults is required
• Experience with co-occurring disorders strongly preferred
• Eligible to provide clinical supervision per Board of Behavioral Sciences criteria
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office
• Ability to pass criminal/background clearance

Our Crisis Centers are Short Term Acute Residential Treatment (START) programs (Del Sur Crisis Center, Esperanza Crisis Center, Halcyon Crisis Center, Jary Barreto Crisis Center, New Vistas Crisis Center, Turning Point Crisis Center and Vista Balboa Crisis Center) that provide intensive, community-based crisis residential services for adults throughout San Diego County. They deliver a unique alternative to psychiatric hospitalization to clients who are experiencing a psychiatric crisis of such magnitude so as not to be manageable on an outpatient basis. Their services are provided in a home-like environment that specializes in the psychosocial rehabilitation of each individual.
