About Job

Are you wanting to be a part of a true team that values connection and supporting one another? Are you wanting to be a part of a team that truly values the care they provide to their clients? If so, read on…

At Simi Psychological Group our mission is to reach the true root of our clients' struggles so they can create real lasting change in their lives. We pride ourselves in the top-notch care we provide each client who works with us in the hope that after their time with us, they will lead fuller and happier lives. We value having a connected group of clinicians who are able to support one another while allowing space for independence and personal growth.

We are different from many other group practices. We are team oriented and work hard to ensure that our team members are growing clinically, personally, and most importantly, that they are happy. While there is plenty of room for independence here, this is not a “rent a space” practice. We have 2 hour group supervision meetings along with one hour individual supervision. Our supervision is aimed at working together to ensure we are providing the best clinical care possible and helping you grow as a clinician. Within these meetings and elsewhere we provide training opportunities to enhance your growth.

We offer a steady stream of referrals with the vision of growing each of our clinicians to full time (20+ clinical hours, 5+ non clinical hours) with a total of about 30 hours of availability per week. Full time status can take a few months to build. We have a scheduling coordinator that does intake calls and scheduling new clients and is able to support our clinicians.

We are seeking an associate therapist that wants to be a part of thriving group practice and hopes to grow within a group practice long term. As a therapist of our group practice, you will be seeing children, teens, couples and adults dealing with ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, relational struggles, and life transition issues. You will also get the opportunity to grow into become a qualified group therapist at SPG. We currently run a women's anxiety group, men's group, teens group, and children social skills groups.

An ideal applicant embraces a growth mindset - you feel confident in your abilities as a therapist and are also willing to learn. You enjoy helping clients grow in a deeper way (not staying on the surface). You have a passion in helping your clients develop insight, skills and create the change they need to live the life they want and deserve. Lastly, you are willing to provide value for your clients beyond what you provide in session--this means collaborating with other professionals working with your client as well as increasing your own clinical growth.

The position will be mostly in person with some virtual options. Evenings and Saturdays will be needed for this position.

Please let us know why you would like to join our team at Simi Psychological Group in your application. Let’s create real change together.
