Your Role as a Behavior Technician:
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children and adults in home and community settings.
- Collaborate with clients, caregivers, and allied specialists to implement positive interventions.
- Support clients in achieving goals through evidence-based strategies under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Prevent and manage challenging behaviors with specialized techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and implement behavior plans consistently.
- Attend training sessions, staff meetings, and complete assigned readings to stay informed.
- Travel to client locations as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education & Age: High school diploma or equivalent; at least 18 years of age.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience working with children, preferably in a related field, within the last 5 years.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to run, stand, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Technology Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe, email, and the ability to learn new systems/software.
- Travel: Access to a personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
- Compliance: Ability to pass a criminal background check and TB test (dated within the last 4 years).
