The Ursinus College faculty is a diverse community of teacher-scholars dedicated to providing transformative experiences for a diverse student body in a highly reflective process embedded in our core curriculum. We seek applicants who demonstrate a meaningful commitment to the inclusion, engagement, and success of all students.
The College provides strong support for faculty research involving students in numerous ways, including start-up funds, pre-tenure leaves, and internal grants. Numerous grants from NIH, NSF, and HHMI also support faculty-student research collaborations. An example is the College-wide Summer Fellows Program, which provides stipends, supply money, and housing for approximately 70-80 students. Faculty mentors of Summer Fellows also receive stipends.

Teaching responsibilities include both introductory and advanced courses in clinical psychology and their area of expertise, supervising student research and honors theses, and contributing to the campus-wide first year Common Intellectual Experience course. We are seeking scholar-practitioners who are passionate about undergraduate education at a selective liberal arts college and creating applied, professional, and/or experiential opportunities for undergraduate students as part of APEX at Ursinus College.
