  • Crisis Response: 24/7/365 hotline and emergency shelter for immediate safety.
  • Support Services: Counseling, advocacy, and legal services for victims of domestic violence and human trafficking.
  • Education & Training: Domestic violence education in schools and community centers across Westchester County.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive, and trauma-informed services to survivors of domestic violence, including counseling, support groups, case management, information and referrals, safety planning, and danger assessments - with the goal of empowering survivors toward safety, independence, and healing.
  • Advocate on behalf of clients with diverse systems such as legal, courts, law enforcement, criminal justice, social services, housing, medical, education, and employment.
  • Respond to hotline calls and provide immediate support.
  • Accompany clients to court and other systems as needed.
  • Serve as backup advocate at the Family Justice Center.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to best serve clients.
  • Complete timely and accurate reports and evaluations.
  • Participate in agency-wide and community events that support our mission.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience in victim services or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with databases a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Flexible, collaborative, and able to work effectively in a team environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Total Compensation Potential: $60,828 – $62,648 annually (includes a monthly cash benefit of $1,065 that you can apply to insurance premiums or take as extra pay)
