Licensed Counselor – Outpatient Behavioral Health
Location: Mesa, AZ | Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire | Sign-On Bonus Available
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Counselor to join our premier Behavioral Health Facility in Mesa, AZ. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity where you will work with a supportive team in a collaborative, mission-driven environment that values both patient care and employee growth.
About the Role
As a Licensed Counselor, you will play a key role in providing outpatient behavioral health services. This includes:
Facilitating group therapy sessions
Providing individual counseling and support for a diverse patient population
Developing, implementing, and monitoring treatment plans
Completing documentation and maintaining accurate, detailed patient notes
Walking the facility, supporting staff where needed, and assisting with training and reports
Ensuring patients remain on track with their treatment goals and care plans
This role requires flexibility, as no two days are the same. Counselors must be able to pivot quickly, manage diverse caseloads, and bring an inclusive, patient-centered approach.
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8AM-5PM

Requirements
Must be licensed in Arizona as one of the following: LMSW, LAC, LCSW, LPC, LAMFT, or LMFT
Experience in behavioral health, substance abuse, or related fields preferred
Strong group facilitation skills and ability to support a diverse population
Flexible, inclusive, and able to set professional boundaries

Pay Details: $53,000.00 to $85,000.00 per hour
