About Job

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Telehealth BCBA to provide high-quality, remote ABA supervisory services across multiple clinic settings. This role blends temporary supervisory support with the potential for full case management, requiring strong virtual communication skills, flexibility, and a passion for supporting others. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced remote environment, meet a billable metric of 30 hours per week, and build meaningful relationships with technicians, families, and other BCBA’s.

Candidates must currently reside in Illinois.

  • What does a Telehealth BCBA do?**

As defined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) are graduate-level certified professionals who provide behavior-analytic services. BCBAs develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans for clients. The Telehealth BCBA will assess behaviors and provide support to clients and their families by coordinating and providing services in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in partnership with the Director of Telehealth, clinic management, RBTs, and BPI's leadership team. This role will deliver primarily remote ABA supervisory services across multiple locations, with occasional in-person sessions, as assigned.

  • How will you contribute?**

We are seeking a dedicated individual who thrives independently and in a team environment. We are looking for candidates who can commit to a caseload with 30 billable hours and a flexible schedule, including the availability to work evening hours (until 6:00 PM) a few days per week. You will support a caseload remotely while also acting as an additional support line to in-person teams. This may require minimal travel, approximately once per month.

  • Education, Experience, and Credentialing Requirements**
  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field (required).
  • Active BCBA certification in good standing (required).
  • Active IL BCBA licensure (required).
  • Two or more years of experience working as a BCBA in a telehealth capacity (required).
  • Two or more years of experience working in ABA as a BCBA (required).
  • Proficiency using Zoom, Google Workspace, and Central Reach.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check, sex offender registry check, abuse and neglect registry check, and an MVR background check.
  • Required Physical Requirements**

Duties

While primarily remote, this position may require some in-person supervision. In such cases, this is physically demanding and requires working in environments that require physical agility and strength. Qualified candidates must be able to perform their duties with or without reasonable accommodation, including but not limited to the following:

  • Bending, kneeling, squatting, and crouching
  • Sitting, walking, and running (must be able to move quickly from a seated to standing position)
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs. and may occasionally be required to lift or assist in the physical movement of clients
  • Hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity
  • Ability to see, hear, and speak
  • Ability to respond safely to physical aggression and ensure safety of oneself and the client
  • Ability to learn, demonstrate, and explain physical skills of moderate complexity
  • Ability to assist clients with hygiene and bathroom needs (such as toileting and diapers) for all genders
  • Ability to work in a variety of locations, including BPI clinics, client homes, schools, and community settings
  • Ability to travel by car, including occasional overnight trips at BPI clinical locations, as assigned.
  • What does BPI offer you?**
  • A strong emphasis on work-life balance, including flexible scheduling, 11 paid holidays, and generous paid time off (18 days your first year!).
  • Manageable caseloads with a focus on quality over quantity. This role will eventually hold a caseload of 30 billable hours.
  • Flexible remote work.
  • Access to an Employee Assistance Program and various discounts.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans for eligible employees.
  • Paid parental leave benefits to support your family.
  • A 401K plan with employer matching and Flexible Spending Accounts for eligible employees.

If you are looking for a meaningful career where you can truly make a difference, we encourage you to apply and join the Behavioral Perspective team!
