Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing techniques from psychotherapy, addiction counseling, and mental health counseling.
- Implement applied behavior analysis strategies to support clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Engage in clinical research to enhance service delivery and contribute to the development of best practices within the organization.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including those in hospital settings, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Offer Christian counseling as needed, respecting the diverse beliefs of clients while providing support aligned with their values.
Requirements
- A degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is required; advanced degrees are preferred.
- Proven experience in mental health counseling or related fields such as addiction counseling or clinical research.
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis techniques is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining medical records accurately.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in mental health care.
