Home Healthcare Intake position:

• Responsible for Completing the Intake process of new patients
• Process Eligibility
• Contact with patients/family, Social Workers, Physician offices, nurses and others as needed
• Scheduling nursing and aide visits, following up on RN visits once patient is admitted
• Obtaining insurance authorization for managed care patients
• Request Medical records as needed
• Working with other office team members communicating patient needs such as therapy, MSW, DME, PAS, etc.
• As well as other administrative duties as needed, such as answering phones.

Required:

At least 2 years in Home Health Intake and/or Scheduling.

Excellent Knowledge of Kinnser/Wellsky Software (2 years minimum)

Computer literate: Able to scan, save documents and upload; work with Excel worksheets

Preferred:

Bilingual - English/Spanish
