Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team in Winter Haven. The RBT will work closely with individuals, particularly children, to implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). This role plays a crucial part in improving the lives of individuals with behavioral challenges by providing direct one-on-one therapy.
Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals, focusing on skill development and behavior management.
- Document individual progress and behavior changes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure consistency in treatment strategies.
- Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.
Skills:
- Experience in patient care, particularly with children.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Background in behavioral health or special education is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to behavioral therapy.
- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).
- Proficiency in implementing behavior intervention plans.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
