Reports To: Program Director / Clinical Supervisor
Pay Range: $26.04 – $27.04 per hour

Position Overview
We are hiring a full-time Counselor to join our GOLDMAN Substance Use & Behavioral Health program. This role provides clinical support through assessments, counseling, recovery planning, and group facilitation for adults receiving treatment in a structured setting.
- Conduct intake assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations, and individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based modalities
- Facilitate psychoeducation and relapse prevention groups
- Document clinical interactions and treatment progress in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning, team meetings, and supervision
- Coordinate aftercare referrals, discharge planning, and community support connections
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality standards, and regulatory guidelines
- Associate, Bachelor’s, or master’s degree in behavioral health, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in human services or counseling (substance use focus strongly preferred)
- Strong understanding of addiction recovery, co-occurring disorders, and trauma-informed care
- Knowledge of ASAM criteria and group facilitation techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHR systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
