Reports To: Program Director / Clinical Supervisor
Pay Range: $26.04 – $27.04 per hour

Position Overview
We are hiring a full-time Counselor to join our GOLDMAN Substance Use & Behavioral Health program. This role provides clinical support through assessments, counseling, recovery planning, and group facilitation for adults receiving treatment in a structured setting.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct intake assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations, and individualized treatment plans
Provide individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based modalities
Facilitate psychoeducation and relapse prevention groups
Document clinical interactions and treatment progress in the electronic health record (EHR)
Participate in interdisciplinary care planning, team meetings, and supervision
Coordinate aftercare referrals, discharge planning, and community support connections
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality standards, and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications

Associate, Bachelor’s, or master’s degree in behavioral health, Psychology, Social Work, or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in human services or counseling (substance use focus strongly preferred)
Strong understanding of addiction recovery, co-occurring disorders, and trauma-informed care
Knowledge of ASAM criteria and group facilitation techniques
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHR systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
