From evaluations (initial, re-evaluations, Autism, SLD, OHI, etc.) to counseling, FBAs/BIPs, and MTSS involvement, your role is vital in shaping effective interventions and fostering student success. What You’ll Do

  • Conduct a variety of school-based psychological evaluations (initial, re-evaluations, Autism, SLD, OHI, and more).
  • Write clear, actionable reports and present findings to parents, educators, and IEP teams.
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings, MTSS processes, and problem-solving teams.
  • Provide counseling (individual and group) to support students’ social-emotional well-being.
  • Develop and implement FBAs (Functional Behavioral Assessments) and BIPs (Behavior Intervention Plans).
  • Collaborate with educators to design effective academic and behavioral interventions.
  • Support crisis prevention and intervention efforts within the school setting.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for teachers, administrators, and families.

What We’re Looking For

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology (required).
  • Current Maryland state licensure/certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience conducting psychological assessments in K–12 school settings.
  • Strong understanding of special education law, IEP processes, and MTSS frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional growth.
