Lark Therapy Group, LLC is a brand new BCBA-owned small business in Virginia Beach, VA. Our goal is to provide personalized in-home ABA therapy to children with autism and their families. Our focus is on family involvement while providing weekly BCBA in-person supervision to all Behavior Technicians. Additionally, we provide personalized paid training towards RBT certification.

**Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with developmental disabilities by implementing behavior plans and providing support.

**Duties:**

- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)

- Provide direct one-on-one behavioral interventions to individuals

- Collect data on client behavior during sessions

- Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans

- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure effective communication and progress monitoring

- Support clients in activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed

**Qualifications:**

- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities

- Knowledge of behavior management techniques

- Familiarity with special education practices

- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and their families

- Understanding of medical records and documentation practices

This position requires candidates to have experience in patient care, care plans, inhalation, ADLs, working with children, behavior management, developmental disabilities, special education, medical records, and medical documentation.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
