Summary of position:
The Baker Center for Children and Families (also known as Judge Baker Children's Center), promotes the best possible mental health of children and families through the integration of research, intervention, training, and policy.
Reporting to the Senior Director of Outpatient Clinical Services, the Staff Psychologist will provide high quality behavioral health treatment to a culturally diverse population of children and young adults ages 2-22, utilizing evidence-based practices (EBP). The Staff Psychologist participates in onsite and virtual evidence-based trainings and receives support working towards certification in various evidence-based approaches. The Staff Psychologist works to implement high quality behavioral health care while adhering to the Center for Effective Therapy’s (CET) clinical and operational policies and procedures. Opportunities to join the clinical faculty at CET as part of The Baker Center’s American Psychological Association (APA -accredited outpatient training clinic, a Harvard Medical School affiliate, are available as staff psychologists demonstrate expertise in evidence-based treatment. Qualifying individuals may be eligible for a faculty appointment at Harvard Medical School.

Essential duties:
- Provides direct clinical outpatient services to families seeking psychotherapy using established evidence-based practices.
- Provides supervision to trainees using established frameworks for clinical supervision.
- Consults to established clients, school districts and staff, and other practitioners on the use of evidence-based practices across a variety of settings.
- Participates in individual and staff supervision meetings and any specialty supervision meetings to facilitate professional development.
- Conducts psychodiagnostic assessments and participate in weekly staff meeting and assessment seminar.
- Collaborates with the CET leadership in administrative and outreach activities to increase the capacity and reach of CET services.
- Conducts educational presentations to outside practitioners, schools, and parent groups.
- Collaborates with external providers to support the care of clients.
- Documents all clinical activities according to professional standards.
Qualifications and Skills
Education:
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in psychology and Massachusetts Psychologist/Health Service Provider licensure.
- Completion of an APA accredited internship.
Experience:
- Experience or familiarity with evidence-based practices (e.g., CBT, MATCH, TF-CBT, PCIT, ERP and SPACE Treatment are especially beneficial).
- 1-2 years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred.
- Experience developing and running therapeutic and/or education programs for children preferred.
- Experience educating and coaching caregivers in 1:1 and/or group settings preferred.
- Experience working with electronic medical/health records (EMR/EHR).
Training:
- CANS certification, or eligibility to complete CANS training.

Logistics
License/Certification: Massachusetts Psychologist/Health Service Provider Licensure in good standing.
Salary: $80,000 - $95,000
