Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess a strong understanding of behavioral therapy and clinical counseling. Duties

• Conduct patient assessments to evaluate individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide behavioral therapy and clinical counseling to children and or adults, utilizing evidence-based techniques.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with other professionals in the clinic to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Implement behavior management strategies to support positive outcomes for clients.
• Engage with families to provide education and support regarding their child's needs.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation practices.
• Proficiency in behavioral therapy techniques and clinical counseling methods.
• Experience working with children in a clinical or educational setting, particularly in special education environments.
• Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments and develop effective treatment plans.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records.
• Understanding of social work principles as they relate to mental health care.
