Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities and autism. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to improve the quality of life for our clients. The BCBA will also be responsible for data collection and analysis to track progress and adjust strategies as needed.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and assessments to identify behavioral needs.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
- Implement behavioral interventions and monitor client progress through data collection.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Provide training and support to staff on behavior management techniques and best practices.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in intake processes and ongoing patient assessment to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively when documenting client interactions and progress in medical records.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Proven experience working with children, particularly those diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and comorbidities.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and reinforcement practices.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis related to patient care.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
- Familiarity with medical documentation standards and HIPAA compliance is essential.
- Ability to conduct patient assessments effectively, utilizing diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- A compassionate approach towards working with individuals with disabilities, ensuring their dignity and respect at all times.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $75,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
