Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health counseling and a passion for helping individuals navigate their psychological challenges. This role involves working with diverse populations, including children, families, and adults, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The Psychologist will conduct assessments, provide therapy, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Duties
- Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine mental health needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions tailored to the specific needs of patients.
- Utilize various therapeutic modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention techniques.
- Work with children and families, offering support in child & family counseling and addressing issues related to autism and developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with medical staff to maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in research initiatives to contribute to the advancement of psychological practices.
- Supervise interns or junior staff as needed, providing guidance and support in clinical settings.
- Engage in addiction counseling and PTSD care for patients requiring specialized treatment.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions for patients dealing with behavioral health issues.
- Maintain ongoing communication with patients regarding their treatment plans and progress.
Skills
- Strong experience in child & family counseling, crisis intervention, and working with individuals with disabilities.
- Proficient in cognitive behavioral therapy techniques and psychological testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with telehealth practices to provide remote counseling services effectively.
- Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including geriatrics and pediatrics.
- Ability to conduct thorough patient assessments and intake evaluations.
- Knowledge of social work principles as they relate to mental health care.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
